We are all doing the best we can in each moment.
I began my career as a social worker in 1997, supporting children and teens with complex mental health needs in both home and school settings. Over the years, my work expanded to include counseling pregnant and parenting teens, as well as providing individual, group, and classroom-level counseling within schools for more than 15 years.
Because of this background, I understand how mental health diagnoses show up not just in therapy sessions—but in classrooms, homes, and everyday life. Today, I blend my experience in schools, agencies, and private practice to support individuals and families with insight, compassion, and practical guidance.
As a mother myself, I know how deeply personal these challenges can feel. I take the responsibility of this work seriously and consider it a privilege to walk alongside the people and families I serve.

My Training & Philosophy
I've invested years in learning and refining a wide range of therapeutic approaches. Staying current on training and clinical research in mental health is essential to my effectiveness as a therapist. Throughout the year I attend workshops, read books and articles, and do coursework at home. I keep only the strategies that genuinely help clients—practical, effective tools that create real-life change.
When I'm not working, you'll find me outdoors—walking, camping, or relaxing by the fire pit. I love teaching yoga (especially making the perfect playlist), lifting weights, and sneaking in a good HIIT class. And at the end of the day, nothing beats a jigsaw puzzle and a cozy night on the couch with my family.

Ready to Take the Next Step?
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to have everything figured out. I’d love to talk and see if my services are a good fit. My first phone call is always complimentary.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
